(#95) * Fixing the formatter to always use a consistent format and running it on the codebase * Update linux-so-version.txt * Update Makefile * A couple of unnecessary files that are lingering around * Support CUDA 12 * Getting the PTX simulations to work with CUDA 12. The issue is that ptxas added more information (number of barriers and compile time). We have to parse these or lexx/yacc fail. * Update ptxinfo.l debug MACRO was ineffective * Update gpgpusim_check.cmake Update to make the CUDA version print a warning, not an error and updating the print to be more reflective of what the actual problem is.

2016-06-13If ptxas notices any duplicate errors, they now automatically get resolved ↵sspenst
and the program continues with the duplicate function/variable declarations removed.
2016-06-02Added handling of .cc option for arithmetic instructions. NOTE: Only made ↵speverel
changes to parse instructions. Carry functionality NOT fully implemented; .cc instructions function like their unmodified ueqivelents. Also modified GTX750Ti config to model L1 data cache as simply not being used for global loads (instead of not existing at all). Changed ptxinfo parsing to avoid crashing when info includes texture information.

is installed for math intrinsics used in instructions.cc (since CUDA 3.1 does not seem to define __uint2float). - currently cuda-math.h has hardcoded paths to my own install of CUDA 2.3 (need to determine whether we can build simulator with CUDA 2.3 and run CUDA 3.1 / compute_2x PTX, or need to make current setup more portable) - modified ptxinfo.l to print out meaningful error message if error occurs on first line - modified ptxinfo.l,y to understand "for 'compute_NN'" syntax - updated template to 3.1 SDK version - updated cuda_runtime_api.cc to select highest compute capability version when multiple versions are present. - updated template/BlackScholes Makefiles to generate a "DLL build" instead of static linked build (still confusing... requires one to copy config files... probably need to modify config scripts) [git-p4: depot-paths = "//depot/gpgpu_sim_research/fermi/distribution/": change = 6837]
